Design Custom Header

Design Custom Header lets you create a branded strip that prints across the top of your documents — your logo, business name, address, phone and anything else — or upload a header image you already have.

Design a header

1. Select Layout to start from a preset, or Choose from Designs for ready-made elements.
2. Add Text: type your text, pick the style (Heading 1–3, Paragraph or Small) and format it — bold, italic, underline, colour, font, size, letter spacing, line height and alignment.
3. Add Image: upload your logo or another image (PNG, JPG, JPEG or WEBP up to 5 MB), or pick one from your recent images.
4. Manage Layers: drag to change which element is in front, and double-click a name to rename it.
5. Click Save. Use View Full Size to check it, and Reset to start again.

Use your own header image

Under Options, switch on Use your own header and upload the image. A wide strip of about 1600 × 320 px works best (width 900–3000 px, shape between 5:1 and 14:1). It prints edge to edge across the top of the page.

To keep a copy of the header you designed, save your changes first and then click Download Header Image.
