Product & Stock Options
These settings decide what happens when stock runs out and how serial numbers (IMEI) and batches are handled.

Stock Priority
Auto-disable out-of-stock items for sale: when ON, any item with 0 stock is hidden and blocked on Create Sale Invoice. It still appears on Create Purchase Invoice so you can restock it, and becomes sellable again once purchased.
Selling services or charges? Services, labour and charges such as freight have no stock, so with Stock Priority ON they can be blocked with the message “out of stock and disabled for sale”. Turn Stock Priority OFF if you bill services. More about this message
Stock Options
- Allow to create sales invoices even if stock is not available.
- Hide out of stock products from product list when creating document.
- Hide out of stock batch from batch list when creating document.
Serial Number Setting
- Serial Number Field Name: rename the field, for example to IMEI No.
- Enable Strict Mode: you must enter a serial number for every quantity sold.
- Tick the other documents that should also ask for serial numbers: Quotation, Proforma Invoice, Sale Order, Delivery Challan and Service Request.
Batch Setting
Choose which batch fields are used — Batch No., Model No., Size, Mfg. Date and Expiry Date (month-wise or day-wise) — and whether each is required and printed. Under Enable Batch Options For Other Documents tick the documents that should show batches. Batch tracking
