Business Profile: company details and GSTIN
Your Business Profile holds the details printed at the top of every invoice and used for GST: company name, GSTIN, phone, address and state.
Where to find it: Settings → Business Profile
Organisation detail
| GSTIN | Your 15-character GST number. Click Auto Fill to fill the company details from it. Tick Update GSTIN? only if the new number should also be written on all previous invoices. |
| Company Name* | Your business or shop name as it should print. |
| Full Name | The owner or contact person. |
| Display Phone* | The number printed on invoices. Phone is your contact number. |
| Email Address | Your business email. |
| Company Type / Business Type | For example Proprietorship or Private Limited; Retail Shop, Wholesale or Services. |
| PAN Number | Your PAN. |
| Address*, Landmark*, Pincode*, City*, State | Your business address. The State (with its GST code, for example Gujarat (24)) is your home state for GST. |
| Additional Licence, LUT No., IEC No., Website | Optional. The LUT and IEC numbers are used for exports. |
| Invoice Prefix / Purchase Prefix | The default prefixes for sale and purchase invoice numbers, for example INV- and PUR-. Full numbering is in Document Options. |
Click Save when you are done.
Company logo and default company
- Company Logo: click Upload logo (JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 2 MB). It is shown on invoices and bills. Logo, signature and stamp
- Make Default Company: if you run more than one company, switch this on for the company that should open when you log in. Manage more than one company
Tip: Fill your GSTIN and state before you make invoices. They decide how GST is split and how your sales appear in the GST reports. How GST works
